Knowing that the main objective of Join a Town is to promote development in vulnerable population around the world and after the experience with urban agriculture in Colombia, we will join a new community in Africa.
Join a Town and Action Real have agreed to work together to implement a program of education in Congo Brazzaville. Action Real, is a Colombian/French organization looking to promote the fourth sustainable development goal: “Quality education” in Africa through the REAL project (Réseau d’éducation pour une Afrique leader or Education Network for a Leader Africa), proposing a change in the education methodology based on the active participation of students in their learning path and reinforce four axes of integral education: Language and civilization, Arts, Healthcare and well-being, and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
Join a Town will support Action Real in the ideation, planning, execution, funding and impact evaluation of the initiative.
