In 2015 a group of world leaders along with UN members, ONGs and world citizens, proposed 17 objectives to address the main global issues and seek a sustainable world. The SDGs aim to transform the structures of the global economy by 2030, making emphasis in ending poverty and promoting a peaceful and protected environment.
Meet The Goals
Poverty refers to the lack of income and the limited access to resources and basic services. Our job is to eradicate poverty by providing sustainable jobs that boost the incomes of the population and reduce inequality. Economic development and growth should be inclusive.
Consider agriculture as an engine of economic development. By reshaping the way we grow, treat and consume our food we can generate jobs and resources for the populations, in addition to better quality of life.
Gather efforts to address major health issues and combat diseases that affect all regions.
In order to improve people´s lives we must consider education as the base for development. Access to quality and inclusive education must be granted at all levels, without making any difference on gender or other social and economic conditions.
Gender equality must be a top priority of any organization and government. We must understand that we are all human beings with the same capacities and rights. Everyone, independently of its gender has the right to actively participate in the community. Women empowerment will bring more diversity and inclusive a different perspective to the flourishing world.
Access to clean water and sanitation must be guaranteed for all. Investments in infrastructure and public policies must be done in order to assure water supply and sanitation. This will help to avoid malnutrition and several diseases that come from this lack of resources.
