During the stay from February 25 to March 8, 2019, thanks to its partners and the collaboration of the Ministry of Primary, Secondary Education and Literacy, the REAL team was able to achieve its first objectives. Namely, to visit the previously selected public schools in order to understand and assess the students’ as well as the teachers working conditions in Brazzaville, to be able to choose the schools that would benefit from the program as pilot schools.
With the support of the Embassy of the Congo in Paris, more particularly the Department of Francophonie, represented by Mrs Anne Marianne Pulchérie Batchi and with the support of the Cultural Advisor Director of the OGES Mr. Ebelebé, and in partnership with the Direction of Francophonie of the Ministry of Affairs represented by Mr. Jean Michel Yloulou, the association Action Real was able to meet the relevant general education authorities: the head of the cabinet and the departmental director and his counterparts in technical education. The collaboration between the various organizations mentioned and Action Real has been materialized by an authorization to visit eight different schools and to interact with their principals and teaching teams.
