Have you ever taken a moment to wonder who you would be without the education you received at school? Would you be the same person if your education and socio-cultural context had not been the same?
Today, millions of children around the world lack the appropriate educational and pedagogical means to build a strong cultural identity that can guarantee them a bright future despite the disadvantaged conditions around them.
This is currently happening in several countries, including Congo-Brazzaville in Africa where, since the national education system was considerably damaged by a civil war in the 1990s, thousands of children and adolescents have an education that lacks its true pedagogical value and its formative role in the broad sense.
At Action Real, we are rolling up our sleeves to actively contribute to the educational and pedagogical development of Congo-Brazzaville, with the implementation of the REAL Project (Réseau d’éducation pour une Afrique leader), which consists in revolutionizing educational habits in the country’s schools through training and awareness-raising activities to be carried out on site with teachers.
…and as with any large project, it is the small actions behind the scenes that make the great achievements possible!
It is behind the scenes of your screen that with a lot of generosity, but with few clicks, you can change the future of many students who have not had the same opportunities as all of us!
…Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the real world!
